Marketing
Libraries need to know how best to promote and market their services so that policy makers, funding agencies and the general public will appreciate the role of libraries in education, economic development, health care, and other venues.
RRLC regularly provides professional development training on the many aspects of marketing, such as customer service. Programs are listed under Continuing Education as they become schedued.
RRLC provides mini-grants that allow libraries to work with the Ad Council of Rochester, as well as professional development classes on marketing.
RRLC also combines Advocacy and Marketing in our yearly "National Library Week RRLC Library of the Year" contest.
