I’ve got tips and suggestions for grades 7-12 I talk about my experiences using iPad and iPod carts for instruction. The presentation includes an extensive review of apps appropriate for the secondary level, as well as project ideas utilizing these apps. I’ll discuss ways to use iPads in a 1:1 classroom and also ways to use the technology with only a few devices.

So you have heard about this thing some teachers are using called Moodle in the faculty lounge. So what is it? Moodle is an online learning environment that allows you to give students 24/7 access to learning in a safe space. Moodle offers a variety of tools that allow you to have students collaborate, work through self guided lesson, submit work electronically, and a few other things that will help student learn. The goal of this session is to give you an overview of the tool itself and some examples of what Moodle looks like. By then end of the course you should have a better understanding of whether this tool would work for you in your classroom. |
