Training on Demand
Are you interested in RRLC training opportunities but can't always travel to the RRLC? Would you like an overview of RRLC products and programs or do you require in-depth training on the resources available through RRLC?

Free workshops and training programs are one of the many benefits of RRLC membership. Barbara Ciambor, RRLC Outreach Librarian, can work with you to provide information and training, designed for your specific library staff or patron needs, at your library site.

Please contact Barbara Ciambor at (585) 223-7570 or email bciambor@rrlc.org to discuss individualized training for your library.

Training is available for the following resources:

NOVELNY: A wide variety of resources - books, magazines, newspapers, research and reference, health, business, school related - available to all New Yorkers, with no fees, 24/7.

CLIC-ON-Health: Trustworthy, up-to-date health information for the Rochester region provided by local medical, public and school librarians. Information about local area services, and organizations and links to consumer health resources including MedlinePlus and other databases available through the National Library of Medicine, are included.

WorldCat and WorldCat.org: Using WorldCat as a regional catalog and a research tool that can be used by your patrons for locating information about genealogy, resources for people with disabilities, current events and more.
