The Information Literacy Continuum Committee is composed of academic and school librarians working in collaboration to ensure that K-12+ students learn information seeking skills. This would include the development of a “continuum” of learning, teaching library and information core literacy skills needed as students move on to institutions of higher learning. Use of the NOVEL databases was used as a “starting off” point. Other committee sponsored activities included three academic library orientations for school librarians, the identification of ongoing academic-school library partnerships and the creation of the document Core Library and Research Skills Grade 9-14+.
